I was a little hesitant to try this brush when I first got it. Simply because everyone seemed to have it and I was slightly skeptical because usually 'trending' toothbrushes aren't worth the buy, in my option, however this brush blew MY MIND!
So, just to give you perspective, I currently own a Phillips Sonicare, Oral B, Quip, and Amabrush electric brushes (if you don't know what these are then just know they are the BMW of toothbrushes), and I love each of them and have special aspects about each one that I love! So, I'm not speaking to you about the BURST brush as an electric toothbrush novice, I am speaking to you as an electric toothbrush QUEEN!
I actually purchased my BURST at the Greater Dental Meeting of New York. I saw the booth and saw that BEAUTIFUL rose gold brush and decided to give it a try! Up until now, they only had black and white options so I wasn't nearly as tempted to give it a try, but when my eyes landed on that rose gold, I knew it would become MINE!
First Impressions of BURST
After traveling back home from NY, I started going through all my goodies! Well, when I got to opening the BURST box, I was NOT disappointed! In the box was a beautiful waterproof carry case, a brush head, charger, case, and toothbrush! I immediately went to try and see if the brush was already charged because it is my pet peeve when I buy something and then have to charge it! I'm always like WHHHHYYY?!
Well, someone at BURST must also feel like me because the brush was COMPLETELY charged which means that I won't have to worry about charging it for 4 weeks! Woohoo! Because another fun fact about me is that I really don't like having wires and stuff out in my bathroom, so this is IDEAL!
I had to hold myself back from brushing immediately, because I really wanted to wait until bedtime and act as though it was going to become my new toothbrush! Well, that evening when I went to brush my teeth I was SHOCKED because this brush is truly AMAZING!
What's so amazing about this brush?
If you take a close look at the brush, the outer bristles are tapered, meaning they create a feather light feeling on the gums. The problem with creating brushes with ONLY feather bristles, is that they aren't really strong on their own, well BURST has regular bristles on the inner part of the brush, thus holding the brush together and then feather light bristles on the perimeter of the brush (See picture below). This to me is amazing because it allows those feather tapered bristles to ease in between your teeth and reach just under your gum line. Well, when I began my brushing, just what I had suspected was TRUE! My teeth, which I brush twice a day with all different types of toothpaste and different brushes, felt so DIFFERENT! It took me a while to pinpoint what exactly felt different about them. Since most brushes aren't truly able to get under the gum line around your molars, the gums in that area aren't really used to being super deep brushed, so my gums weren't used to the feeling and that was what I was feeling! It was like being sore after going to the gym, but like my BURST toothbrush was the gym...if only gymming was that easy!😉

If you are looking for making your gum health GOLDEN or shall I say PINKER, then please go get yourself one of these brushes because I can almost guarantee that your gums will become healthier!
If your gums are pristine and you are looking for a brush that really whitens those teeth, then there are better brushes for you to invest in! Also, if you're a person who doesn't want to commit to every three months paying for a brush head, don't worry you don't need to sign up for that! Also, since it's the holiday season, these actually make great gifts for people who you just can't figure out what to get them and while you're at it...get yourself one too!
